Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is one of Delhi’s most important historic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the early 13th century, the 73-metre tower is noted for its red sandstone bands, carved inscriptions, and Indo-Islamic architecture. The surrounding Qutub complex includes ancient ruins, the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, and the Iron Pillar, making it more than a single monument.
