About Safdarjung Tomb

Safdarjung Tomb is a graceful 18th-century mausoleum in New Delhi, built in the late Mughal style and set within a formal charbagh garden. Often seen as the last grand garden tomb of the Mughal era, it offers a quieter alternative to Delhi’s busier monuments. Visitors come for its balanced architecture, red sandstone and marble details, and pleasant grounds that are especially attractive in the early morning or late afternoon. If you enjoy history, photography, or peaceful heritage sites, it is a worthwhile stop.
