Nagoya, Japan
Nagoya TV Tower, standing in Hisaya Odori Park, is one of Nagoya’s best-known landmarks and a good stop for city views. Originally completed in 1954, it was Japan’s first consolidated radio tower and remains an important part of the city’s postwar skyline. Visitors can ride up to observation areas for a broad look over central Nagoya, especially appealing in the evening when the city lights come on. Its central location also makes it easy to combine with nearby shops, cafés, and a walk through the park.
